Teachers of the Department of Language Training almost in full force, headed by the head of Assoc. Morgunova NS On April 20, 2021, they took an active part in the International Scientific Conference "Social Work in Modern Society" ("Sociálna práca v súčasnej spoločnosti"), held by the Departments of Pedagogy and Theology of the Catholic University of Ružomberk (Slovakia) remotely Zoom platform.
The International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Scientific Initiative of Foreign Students and Postgraduate Students”, which was attended not only by foreigners from Kharkiv higher education institutions, in particular KHNAHU, but also students from other cities and countries, was organized and held on March 21, 2019 KHNAHU at the Department of Language Training.
The International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Scientific Initiative of Foreign Students and Postgraduates" was organized and held on March 15, 2018 at KhNADU at the Department of Language Training. The purpose of the conference: to promote the further development of research of foreign students in the field of humanities, technical and socio-economic sciences; formation of general cultural, professional and linguistic subject competencies in foreign students; development of intercultural interaction. The main directions of the conference: 1. Current issues of the humanities. 2. Actual problems of technical sciences. 3. Current issues of social and economic sciences. The reports heard at the conference show that foreign students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine and other countries together with their supervisors are actively working on solving modern problems related to intercultural communication, language training, introduction of the latest pedagogical technologies in learning process; and explore various problems of the humanities, social, economic and technical sciences.
On May 21, 2020, the Department of Language Training organized and held the V International Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Ways and Methods of Formation of Speech and Communicative Foreign Language Competence of Modern Students", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University. This year the event was held remotely using Zoom technology
